NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits
The NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits (previously known as the NDIS Price Guide) help participants and providers understand how pricing and claiming rules operate within the NDIS.
Price regulation is designed to help ensure participants receive value for money when purchasing disability supports and services.
It contains information about support items, applicable price limits and claiming requirements. It also identifies which claim types, such as provider travel, non-face-to-face supports, and short-notice cancellations, may apply to particular support items.
For Agency-managed and Plan-managed participants, NDIS pricing arrangements and applicable price limits must be followed when claiming eligible supports.
Participants and providers may agree to prices below any applicable price limit where permitted under NDIS rules.
Providers are responsible for ensuring claims are submitted using the appropriate support item and in accordance with current NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits, the NDIS Support Catalogue, applicable NDIS rules and relevant legislative requirements.
Claims that do not meet NDIS requirements may be rejected, adjusted, reviewed or subject to recovery processes by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) where applicable.
Providers are responsible for ensuring they remain informed about current pricing arrangements, claiming requirements and operational guidance.
The NDIA provides online resources, guidance materials and provider webinars to assist providers in understanding claiming requirements and staying informed about NDIS updates.
The NDIA regularly updates the NDIS Pricing Arrangements and Price Limits and the NDIS Support Catalogue. Participants and providers should refer to the latest published versions when making decisions about supports, pricing and claims.
This information is provided as general guidance only. Eligibility for NDIS funding and claimability of supports is determined in accordance with NDIS legislation, rules, operational guidelines and the participant's individual plan and funding arrangements.
